The ideal candidate for FUSION's Business Development Manager position will be polished and professional, with an innate, outgoing, and friendly disposition. In addition, they will be experienced and knowledgeable with IOS, Android, Windows, Web, and Web application platforms.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Perform a mix of making cold calls and sending email communications to curated leads.
  • Perform research to learn about a prospect's business, company size, and technology.
  • Qualify new leads and prospects by identifying their need for custom software, mobile app solutions, or improvements to their existing system.
  • Consistently manage leads and develop new business opportunities within a Salesforce platform.
  • Nurture and grow existing client accounts and provide ongoing support for adopting long and short-term maintenance programs.
  • Host monthly live webinars for specific industries to educate prospective clients about FUSION's custom software and mobile app solutions.
  • Travel throughout the USA to manage client relationships and present FUSION's unique custom software and mobile app development services.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create strategies and sales material for clients and their industries.
  • Plan and execute sales strategies to grow the software development business segment.
  • Routinely meet KPIs, report goals, and pipeline activity to the Sales Director.
  • Domestic travel of up to 25% is required.

Essential Functions:

  • A thorough understanding of the services and technology that FUSION provides: Web and Front-End Applications, Mobile Applications, Artificial Intelligence, Augmented Reality, Web Ordering Portals, Workflow Process Automation, Internet of Things, Data Collection and Machine Learning, Content Sharing Technology, and Mobile Application Development.
  • Can effectively manage through the seven stages within a sales cycle: Identify leads, connect, qualify, present, overcome objections, and obstacles, close the deal, and nurture.
  • Experience selling custom software and mobile app services to various industries.
  • An ability to effectively communicate and present FUSION's software solutions and other business services to decision-makers.
  • An innate ability to multitask and prioritize projects as needed.
  • Engages in active listening to ensure clients' wants and needs are addressed.
  • Produces quality and well-written communications, quotes, and statements of work.
  • Routinely attends and presents at networking events and tradeshows.
  • Responsible for developing and growing high-value accounts and strengthening partner and vendor relationships.
  • Exceptional follow-up and follow-through skills.

Knowledge, Skills, Education, and Experience:

  • Strong familiarity with software and hardware technology.
  • Familiarity with mobile devices, mobile applications, and business solutions involving mobility.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.

Education and Experience

  • Must have 3-4 years of experience in sales roles with in-person business-client interaction.
  • B2B sales, relationship management, and a proven track record of selling software and mobile app solutions.

Physical Demands:

  • Frequent standing, walking, sitting, and using hands and fingers in repetitive motions.
  • May occasionally need to lift or move up to 25 pounds.

Compensation

Salary: $70K - $75K Annual + Commission
